My dear friend Karen and I used to walk around the old neighborhood and make friends with anyone renovating or building a home with the hope we’d be invited in to check out their project. This Christmas Project was made for her and I called it “Let’s Look In The Window”.
It was a shadow box made to look like a view into Santa’s Workshop. Turns out half the fun is looking for cool, vintagey treasure to tell your story in this Christmas Emporium. I can’t wait to make another theme.

Oh no ((( hon ))), why weepy? Are you having post holiday blues? I’m really sad for that, you’re such a tender soul. Gentle hugs coming your way xoxox

That is so cool! What a fun idea. I bet your friend cried when she saw all the love and work that went into this. Did you end up making another one?

I didn’t see her open it, they spend Christmas at their mountain home in the Canadian Rockies (I know….pretty swell right). I have one more box for another Altered Art project, maybe a garden one?

“Mountain home in the Rockies….” I’m swooning here.
Garden Altered Art sounds like a perfect use for your next box. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a teensie bit biased on the subject. 😉

I was dreaming of a blog but found a forever friend, and I can’t believe Ellen hasn’t dedicated a whole show to us 😀 LOL Honestly though, thank you for every bit of support from here to there and back again! XO
