If you have been to Pinterest on line, you’ll know it’s both addictive and fun at the same time. So many great ideas for home decorating, right? That’s how I found myself treasure hunting at the local Antique Mall with my friend Karen.
Karens buying decor for their fabulous mountain home. Old wooden ski’s, check. Vintage books with titles like “Grizzly Country”, double check. Karen’s Mr. Right doesn’t know it yet but I’ve just introduced his better half to a new bad habit…Antique shopping. Your Welcome!
Suddenly, “oh my goodness”! I’ve spotted the perfect find. They’re Aqua, they’re milk glass, they’re wonderful, they’re mine!
Three hours later, we’ve barely made a dent in the place. I love looking through each booth and thinking about all the things I might have had as a kid or things I know Grandpa had and gave away. Hopefully, someone’s loving them now. That’s the thing with antiques, there’s always that item no one wanted but inevitably you regret giving up. The moral is, never, repeat “never throw anything away.”
Beautiful cups!

You know, I don’t even offer them to Mr B. (Giggle) I haven’t confessed how much they were either, but it would be really bad if one broke. Sometimes you just have to ‘go for it’ when you see something you can’t live without.

You are so funny! Does he read your blog? He’ll be happy to know you bought them for a song.

Actually, for some reason comments don’t show on the Ipad view 3:) I’m a little naughty sometimes.

I wonder why they don’t show up on on the iPad? It’s a technology mystery. 🙂

I think Jim can switch ‘regular format’ and he’d see the comments, but I set up an format just for Ipad users so they can ‘swipe’ and use the ‘touch screen’ option….wordpress had a tuturial a while back. It looks pretty different. So hehehe, that kinda works out ok. I read them to him sometime though. (ps, that emoticon, 3:) was suppose to be a little devil ?? doesn’t format in wordpress, darn)

You can actual set up emoticons in WordPress to view in the ‘cartoon’ setting. Let me think where I saw it….
