A flower a day keeps the Dr. away……
One of my favorite things to do on my pages is to make mini collages of elements. These collages might include die cuts, stamps, buttons, ribbon, pins, flowers or all of the above. I have just discovered Quilling. With a couple of simple tools, you’re on your way to making beautiful flowers that you can attach to your scrap pages or any other project your creative heart desires. These dyes are cut using your Big Shot. You can easily use up bits of left over paper.
Using the Quilling tool, you simply spiral the cutout around the tip then remove and glue. A little Ink and folding will ensure your very own custom leaves to accompany your pretty flowers.
I just love creating ‘mini collages’ on my pages to help tell the story. It’s all the fun stuff you can’t resist when you stop at your local scrapbook store. I don’t think I’ve ever just picked up what I went for, there’s always something new I “must” have. These little flowers beautifully tie it all together.
I had some left over papers from my travel project & this is what transpired, but the possibilities are endless.
I love scrap booking and especially the idea of layering. These are beautiful!

I would love to see some of your pages in a post sometime. I’m struggling to find time to scrap, too many fun things happening. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thank you. I’ve thought about adding a page to my blog, as you have, to share other crafty endeavors. I’ve not had much time for scrapping either. I miss it!
