Celebrating My Heritage

This weekend my Aunty Kathleen and I are going out to ‘Provode’. It’s a Ukrainian tradition at the church where my  grandparents, Anne & John are with their beloved son Metro.

We’ll take flowers for their markers and celebrate their lives with other families who also have loved ones there. Lot’s of traditions get lost over time, that’s sad to me.  I want to celebrate my heritage, treat it with care, share it with someone new.

    1. Hi and thank’s for visiting Boomdeeadda. John & Anne may be gone but their legacy is a rich heritage that keeps me connected spiritually to my dad who I miss every day.

Talk nerdy to me………..
