Music Monday – Week 2

Week 2 Music Monday

In the spirit of “Wordless Wednesday” or “Silent Sunday”, last week Boomdeeadda launched a new feature post called  “Music Monday”.  The plan is: every Monday I  share a song from an artist I really enjoy and you then fall in love with them too.  At the very least, you might let me know who you’re listening to and I’ll discover someone new too.  It’s just all about sharing some great music.

I hope you stopped in Premier Week featuring Tin Pan Orange from Australia, weren’t they great?  Week two we move on to Ireland with Lisa Hannigan.  You might classify Lisa as Indie Rock. I just love her lyrical, sweet voice.  Like in “Little Bird”

“Your heart sings like a kettle, and your words, they boil away like steam.

And a lie burns long, while a truth bites quick, a heart is built for both it seems”.

Are you hooked yet? You can visit her Myspace Page to hear another favorite called “I Don’t Know” . I do know I could listen to her all day long, but that’s just me.

Finally, here’s Lisa Hannigan singing one of my favorites off her 2nd album “Little Bird”

I am blessed to have my own room to craft in and enjoyed being on the Paige Taylor Evans' Silhouette Design Team from 2019 to 2021. Favorite quote "we'll grow kindness in our hearts for all the strangers amongst us, till there are no strangers anymore" Singer-Songwriter Patti Griffin.

    1. Thanks Aunty, don’t you just love her Irish accent? I’ve got most of two albums on my ipod and ALL her songs are just awesome. Love the acustic guitar style, I must get back to playing. xoK
