Music Monday – Week 3

Welcome back to Music Mondays.  A weekly feature where I share a current Artist I really like and maybe you’ll like them too. At the very least, you can let me know who you’re listening to and I’ll discover someone new.  It’s just all about sharing some great music.

This week we stop in Scotland to check out ‘Camera Obscura’. Please check out  their  My Space Page to sample their style.

My personal favorite is ‘Keep It Clean’, about a girl whose moved on after a bad romance, the old boyfriend’s looking to hook up but she’s on to someone new (Can you relate? I can).

“You’ve taken to phoning my house when your drunk, confessing all your love,

I wish you would have said so, before now”

“I don’t want to be part of that scene, I’ll stick with him, I’ll keep my nose clean”

I never get tired of the infectious melody. This Indie Pop duo with their note perfect vocal harmonies remind me of  UK music from the 60’s, kind of nostalgic. Yet their lyrics are entirely current, honest and relatable.

Let me know what you think.
