That’s A Wrap – Part 2

Hi, and thank’s a bunch for coming back for ‘That’s A Wrap’ Part 2.   I think I like wrapping the gifts more than I do shopping for them.  I tend to have this habit of  buying myself stuff when I’m suppose to be  gift shopping, does that happen to you?  I wandered into Indigo and thought “a book would be a nice gift”.  Well, I did buy a book, but not for the birthday girl, ooopps. Hey, have you ever looked through Artful Blogging?  It’s full of beautiful images, I’m loving every issue!  I’ll just consider this purchase “doing my homework”.

Focus Boomdee, focus. So after finally finding, what I thought was the perfect gift, I made  a little tag with more scrapbook leftovers. It really doesn’t cost anything to pretty up your presents:

  • Gift Bag, Dollar Store (2 for $1.00)
  • Netting, 3 meters @ .60/meter
  • Tag made from leftovers scrap product $0.00
  • Grande Total $2.80

I have a Coluzzel template to make the little purse,  I’d be happy to email you a template, just post a request in comments.  I printed my message on the computer and cut it out with a die cut on my Big Shot.

I’d like to do a bunch ahead for Christmas, I think they’d be fun hanging on a wine bottle.

As they say in the biz, “that’s a wrap”.

Blossum! Really? Birdies right now?

    1. Awwwww you always make my day sweet cous. I think that’d be a super fun job…I’d be ‘A wrapper’ -vs- ‘A rapper’…eat your heart out P Diddy. I don’t know if BIG D would like me to inspire any shopping so “I deny everything…..” 🙂

    1. Thank’s Jen, they were for my friend Kari. She’s adorable and a WAY better golfer than me, but I don’t hold it against her, HA (everyone is). I think it’s fun to see what turns out when you just ‘wing it’. Thanks for your message!

    1. Hi PJ, well you’re so nice to say so. I have more time than anything else. I used to be so busy in the fall in our giant yard, now some young men show up at the Condo and do it all….I plan to just enjoy that this year, since maybe next year will be different (fingers crossed). I’m sure you are very busy making plans for winter and probably next spring..thanks for popping in 🙂

  1. I too love the Artful Blogger. I bought one copy, then recently poured through another one standing at the magazine counter at Barnes and Noble.

Boomdee, your gift tags are breathtaking. What a lucky friend.

As for Petals in the photo, that was my favorite!

    1. It’s a bit of a pricey mag but I get so much enjoyment and entertainment out of one. You can’t even imagine how many pictures Petals finds her way in to…she is so friendly and alert, Blossum is content to just snooze on her pillow, where’s Petals is usually climbing through my paper, stealing a ribbon or saying “look at me”…in her own little way…love her to bits…thanks for your super nice comment!

    1. Hi Aunty…thank’s for your sweet message. I’m bumming in the craftroom today while I do laundry…gotta do something to make that fun. What’s up on the Weekend are you going to your sisters? xoK

  2. Oh my goodness! that’s gorgeous! You inspire me to want to get all my boxes unpacked right this minute and start creating again. Of course that’s not practical. I was gifted a copy of the “Artful Blogger” by a dear friend. It’s wonderful. Mine is in a box somewhere waiting.:( I’m going to pin this on my pinterest wall. 🙂

Talk nerdy to me………..
