Not Just A Little Quirk Of Mine

Can you imagine how many miles a person walks in a lifetime?  According to Wiki Answers:

“The average moderately active person takes about 7500 steps a day. Assuming every day the person walks, an eighty year old person who began walking at one year of age, would have taken 216,262,500 steps in their lifetime. An average person, with an average stride, living to this age of 80 will walk about 108,131 miles.”

No wonder I have to own so many shoes 😉   By habit, when I travel, I also like to take pictures of my feet.  It seems to solidify, in my mind anyways, that I was actually there.  At times, it might even be hard to tell, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

I always wondered if other people did the same thing, document their trips via photo feet.   I guess it’s a resounding YES by the looks of things at Toemail, Check it out, they’ve posted Mr B’s feet today (BTW hon, your feet are on the internet…giggle).  Thanks Toemail

I guess it’s NOT just a little quirk of mine.

Do you have any great toe shots you’re willing to share with a million friends or so?

  1. You come up with such clever posts! I love all those pics. I detest my thick ankles, so wouldn’t dream of photographing the feet attached to them. I usually crop that part out of pictures. 🙂

You have cute little feet and ankles to match. Lucky you!

    1. LOL, Alys! No one likes their feet. Didn’t you notice those little sausage toes. My girlfriend says it’s because I always got hand me down shoes ??. What can I say, it’s a Ukrainian thing. You wap on a $20 dollar pedicure and ‘bobs your uncle’. Hey, check out some of the feet at toemail…I bet you’ll feel a lot better about your own feet….giggle. Tell you what, I trade my little, sausage toed feet for your beautiful green eyes. 😀 It’s a deal you can’t refuse right?

  2. Ah, there’s those adorable aqua tennis shoes I want so badly! I am going to have to start photographing my feet from now on – and since we are going to be getting some snow, I’ll photo my feet in my new winter boots! LOL 🙂
