I Wish You Love

Gallery

I was walking thru the forest

on one cold December night,

when a white light fell upon me,

I looked down it was so bright.

Boomdeeadda Bling

When I looked towards the heavens,

thru the bright lit canopy,

With snowflakes on my glasses now,

 I could hardly see.

A Wreath In My Hand

“I heard your wish from far away,

did you know that I was listening?”

“I came here in my sleigh,

over roof-tops, snow was glistening.”

Smiling Snowman

Santa held his big round tummy

and said, “you really look surprised!”

“You haven’t changed since ’63’,

there’s still star dust in your eyes.”

Dear Santa

Had we met when I was little?

Back in 1963?

Could that really have been Santa,

leaving a bike beneath my tree?

Plain to Pretty

Just then it was apparent,

we keep Christmas in our hearts.

Its a feeling you must nurture,

not pile in shopping carts.

So I closed my eyes and made my wish,

his reindeer were getting ready.

Santa laughed and smiled down,

over tree tops he held them steady.

With a wink and a twinkle, Santa waved his glove.

He caught my wish in one hand,

my wish for warm Christmas love

to sprinkle thru out the land.

Mr & Mrs Boomdee

You might see Santa flying by,

a streak up in the air.

My wish for love he’ll be sprinkling down,

there’ll be glitter in your hair.

    • Thanks Herman for your warm wishes and for all your visits to Boomdeeadda. I’ve really enjoyed all your photo’s and posts and witty banter. Winter wil u beiden (and learning Dutch, one comment at a time). Meow Meow Mr Bowie.

    • Wait a minute…LOL, just reading this back this morning “Winter wil u beiden”..???..that’s not what I wanted at all. I was trying to say “Vrolijk kerstfeest dag aan u voor beide”….this Dutch thing is tricky 😀 Cheers.

Talk nerdy to me………..
