Should I Be Worried?

We were at our favourite bookstore one night and stopped to check out the number one best seller .

It's Number One

Naturally I had to take a peak to see if I could gleam any details that might save our lives. Nothing seemed too sinister at first glance. After all, I love parties.

Nothing Sinister Here

Then, gasp! There it was, mid novel. Β What manner of mayhem have we here? Β Looks all to familiar!

I Know These Two

(As seen at Chapters: Book by Matthew Inman)

Over the weekend, I thought it prudent to keep an eye out……what do you think?

Shes Asleep

Do they look like they’re plotting anything?

Yes There's Lots of Room

Seems safe enough, don’t you think?

I Know That's You

Petals why are you wearing a disguise, should I be worried?

How many times a day do you trip on a Cat?

  1. This is too funny. The other day — true story — I was at the library and checked out a book that had an old checkout receipt tucked inside. The first book on the receipt was “How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you” and the next book was “A memoir of anxiety.” πŸ™‚

    1. OMgosh….that is so, so funny Julia. What is going on in that poor persons home? LOL-LOL. It might not fit into your Blog, but that would make the funniest post ever. You must have really cracked up. Then you see it here, ha…do you have a cat in your home??? Is this some kind of message? Thanks for sharing that πŸ˜€

    1. Hi PJ, your sweet kitty cats look like positively angelic in photo’s. I think Petals was probably innocent enough, but she does look suspicious in almost every photo I take of her, LOL

    1. They do seem to be on a schedule, whether there is food in their dish or not, 7:45!!!! it’s time to get up mom :). That’s a sleep in for most people, so I’m spoilt. Thanks for visiting Shelley!

  2. Cats are so dangerous! Mine always cut under my legs when going down the stairs… I am so lucky that in my entire house there are only 2 steps. Lol. Surprisingly enough, in this household I believe that it is the Golden Retriever that is trying to kill me. I have at least two major falls a year (resulting in: sprained ankles or wrists, black eyes, split lips, skinned knees, and bumps to the head) and the tripper is always my super fluffy gigantic teddy-bear Pal!

    1. I KNOW right…the “under the legs on the stairs thing”…that’s tripped me up more than once. Sounds like we should both keep an eye out. LOL….Sorry to hear about the bumps and bruises, I can hardly believe that super sweet faced could do anything malicious , I can only surmise it was a ‘wrong place at the wrong time’ scenario…LOL Thanks for your message Kathryn!

    1. Hi Lea, glad you had a giggle and yes it does give me pause when I awake to ‘the stares’…LOL

I think, “jeeze, how long have you been sitting there”. πŸ˜€

Thanks for your visit and message!

    1. We do Laurie, and apparently they’re are sisters. A gift from my brother…I think Petals is the shifty one (up front) and Blossum just tags along behind..Ha. At least ‘two’ keep each other company when we’re too busy to play. Thanks for visiting!

    1. Thanks Herman! Awesome, the Boomdee Crusader will battle dark dreariness through out the day!! To bad my butler is away today, I could zoom by in the Boomdeemobile and take you for lunch…oh, yes it fly’s πŸ˜‰

    1. That’s exactly what I thought when I awoke….like “what are you two up too?” LOL…dogs are so much easier to read. Oh I should add, we had a big snuggle fest right after this photo, so it was a false alarm, HA. Thanks Will (hi Eko!!)

  3. I can’t stop laughing! This is hilarious! Sharing on Facebook. Thanks for the morning funny.

Just to be on the safe side, though, maybe you should sleep with a cat toy under your pillow, so you can throw it at the drapes while you and J. make your escape. Don’t trip on your way down.

    1. Thanks for that Alys, and the share! These guys are an endless source of funny photo’s. I probably do have a toy under my pillow, Petals leaves them everywhere including on the stairs….and you know me too well, I would probably be the one sacrificed to any Zombies (or kitties) in pursuit because I would be the one to fall down…LOL πŸ˜€

      1. You and me both. I feel like I got a get out of jail free card yesterday. I arrived at my clients house at 10:01 for a 10 appointment. She had come out to open the garage and slipped on the black ice (so rare for us here). One minute sooner and I would have been the one on my back. She didn’t even hit the ground, thank goodness, but I surely would have.

We have cat toys, scratchers, blankets, the works all over the place. It’s a challenge for me with me need for neatness and order, but it all works out.

      2. Oh snap, it really has been an unusual winter for you. Thank goodness she didn’t hurt herself or you. That would have been a crumby start. (((Alys))) you are so dedicated and diligent…10:01 for a 10:00 am appointment is on-time. Do you train your clients on “how to maintain” it all when you’ve gone? After all your hard work, it’d be a shame for it to go back to being un-organized.

      3. Thank you, sweet Bomdee!

It has been an unusually cold month so far. I’m enjoying the excuse to wear my hat and beautiful scarves, but otherwise, I’ll take the rain any day. It tends to be warmer.

I do train my clients how to maintain organization and I also offer “tune ups” as well. No two solutions are alike, I believe. The best solution is the one that fits with the style and personality of the individual.

      4. You have the perfect attitude for the job….no judgement, you’re there to help. I love organizing, but I’m not sure how good I’d be at doing it for someone else. It takes a special personality to be able to do what you do Alys.

    1. Hehe, thanks for the suggestion πŸ˜‰ Valerie. I swear, the way they monopolize the stairwell you’d think they were trying to make it as hard as possible to go down. They do seem rather sneaky at times, running out from around corners. With a dog, you can’t miss him..you’re so lucky!

  4. Hilarious post, I love the way you set it up!

The Oatmeal’s comics are fabulous, they’re so twisted and funny! We don’t have any pets other than fish, but my Mum and Dad’s cat sure gives a lot of hints about his nefarious nature…when he’s not all snuggly and sweet, that is! πŸ˜‰

I really laughed hard at the book store, but it was surprisingly easy to get the photographic evidence….ya right, when they aren’t snuggling they can be suspicious. Thanks for coming by! πŸ˜‰

    1. I’m sure the people at Chapters tired of my laughing outbursts in their store. You could write a book with all your awesome animals stories….animal books are always a good seller. I’m currently reading ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’ and really loving it. Thanks for your message!
