(( you )) ! Thanks my dear. I’d have to wrangle spring this year. Such a diva, here one day and gone the next. That’s how it goes here though. I don’t mind 20 C as long as the sun’s shining, and we might hit 20 C this week 😀 Fingers crossed. (That’s 72 F BTW)
Hi Marlene! Thanks sweetness 😀 I wouldn’t say it’s still useful as a clipboard. It was just a creative option to a standard canvas. Daryl, who owns the store with his whole family, is a professional photographer, so has a good eye for these things. He collects all sorts of interesting vintage baubles. The store has a number of eye catching and unique displays. You know those old cigar box’s? They have a whole display of those and they hold little treasures for purchase that you could include in a mixed media project. They’re really pretty and colourful. xo K
I saw that and would have known it was made by you if I hadn’t already known it was! It’s very “Kelly” and just gorgeous from every angle – love the special touches and the best thing is you made it to honor your anniversary. Makes it more amazing and personal. The tulle protecting the roses is somewhat symbolic isn’t it – the beauty of the delicate flowers under protection but not too “tight” – special feelings in a special relationship that’s OPEN but private at the same time. Beautiful work!!!
((( Awwww Pam ))) I just think you’re so very special. You’ve seen into my heart more than you know. Yes the veil was a nod to our wedding day. I hadn’t considered how they gently hold the roses in place but that’s a beautiful though. I do feel safe and loved everyday. Thank you sweet friend ❤ I love you !! xo K
I did pop by and it is bee-autiful!! I think you coloured the aqua gemstones with alcohol inks 🙂
I love the tulle – it makes me feel I am gazing through summer time heat at a magical little garden. The little music box is a wonderful addition and the dangles make it very special! How lovely that it plays your wedding music too – so many congrats on the 17 years, isn’t that wonderful too ❤
Oh my, I love that, “gazing through summer time heat” ! Thank you so so much Pauline <3. There were many music box's to choose from at the shop in Sydney. But when I heard "What A Wonderful World", I knew it was the one. 17 years has really flown by ! Who speads up the time clock after 25? 😀 I love you xoxo
Hi Cindy, OMGosh I miss you! I’ve been out of town, out of time and out of touch for way too long. Thanks so much for your message! xo Coming by right now xoxo
That is downright gorgeous!

Now, that’s what I call BLING! So lovely … as if you’ve captured spring itself and turned it into a clipboard. 🙂

It’s very cute. Is it still useful as a clip board?
